Post Purchase Upsell helps Shopify merchants configure and show a single post-purchase offer after checkout. This policy explains what data the app uses, how it is used, and what the app does not collect.

Information we process

• Shop domain and Shopify app session data needed to install and run the app.
• Merchant-configured offer settings such as selected product variant, headline, discount, and quantity.
• Operational offer events, such as offer impressions and accepted clicks, tied to the shop and checkout reference ID.

How we use this information

• To authenticate the merchant and run the embedded Shopify admin app.
• To save the merchant's active post-purchase offer configuration.
• To determine whether an offer should render after checkout and to securely sign the changeset used by Shopify checkout.
• To maintain basic operational records about offer activity for the merchant's shop.

Customer data

The app is not designed to request or store protected customer data or customer personally identifiable information. The app does not store customer names, email addresses, mailing addresses, or payment details.

The app may process Shopify checkout reference IDs as part of the post-purchase flow. These identifiers are used only to support the upsell workflow and related operational logging.

Data sharing

App data is used only to provide the app's functionality. We do not sell merchant or customer data.

Data retention and deletion

Offer configuration data and related operational records are retained only as needed to operate the app for the merchant's shop. If the app is uninstalled, Shopify session data is removed as part of the uninstall flow.

Your choices

Merchants can update or remove their offer configuration at any time from the app admin interface by disabling the offer or changing the selected product variant and content.
